As a graduate of Adelphi University’s Master of Social Work program, she put her skills to work in a variety of mental health settings including outpatient clinics, early intervention programs, hospitals, and adult homes.

She received my Ph.D. from The New School and she is also a tobacco treatment specialist. In addition to being a clinician she is an adjunct professor. Previously she have worked as a study coordinator for a pharmaceutical study, a field examiner for a psychological testing company, and she ran treatment groups for a research study.

Dr. Faina Yablochnikova, Psychiatrist and graduated with honors at Alma-Ata State Medical Institute, Kazakhstan in 1987. Dr. Yablochnikova has completed her internship and residency between the City Children’s’ hospital in Kazakhstan for pediatrics and Michigan State University for psychiatry. To continue her education, Dr. Faina Yablochnikova also conducted a fellowship at SUNY Downstated in psychiatry as well.
She utilizes her ability and expertise with general, child and adolescent psychiatry to treat her patient at her own practice in our office.
